” I’m still amazed that anyone had paid any attention to me! Jim French and the people at Colt Studio never let me know if I was popular or not, so I had (and still have) no idea.

I did a lot of work with Dan Nix (1962 – 1994), some of which I was lucky enough to get copies. You mentioned not seeing my face in his shots — which is not uncommon, because he explored the body as a form. And he did it all with existing, natural light in his studio. I am extremely proud of my work with Dan. I miss him and his lover David.

I’ve also worked with Tom Bianchi. A few of the images I shot with him have been published. ”
