CONTROVERSIAL SCENE DELAYS BELAMI DVD’S U.S., U.K. DISTRIBUTION

NEW YORK – Distribution of the DVD version of European gay adult studio BelAmi’s latest title, SEX BUDDIES 1, was delayed in the U.S. and the U.K. due to a controversial scene involving exclusives — and real-life twin brothers — Milo and Elijah Peters.
   According to BelAmi’s publicist, “Apparently the scene pushes the boundaries so far that in order to have it pass the [British Board of Film Classification] censors in the U.K. and be distributed in the U.S. [the studio was] forced to re-edit. BelAmi’s amorous twins shared a scene together in Sex Buddies 1, and … well, they just couldn’t keep their hands off of each other.
   “It may seem like in today’s market you can get away with anything, but one thing is certain: You can’t get away with two hot twins kissing and playing around with each other,” the publicist added.
   The uninhibited twins said they were only doing what comes naturally.
   “If we do it at home anyway, what’s wrong with doing it on film?” Milo Peters asked.
   Although the “cleaned-up” version is available in both markets now, the only place to see the movie as it originally appeared is online at BelAmiOnline.com. The uncut DVD version is available on the Web, as well, at BuyBelAmi.com.
   BelAmi intends to shoot more content featuring the Peters twins this year, and the studio’s publicist said censorship is the furthest thing from producers’ minds.
   When new scenes begin appearing on the website this summer, “let’s just say it: There will be nothing left to the imagination,” he said.



Bel Ami / George Duroy comments:
As alike as Milo and Elijah Peters appear onscreen, in person they are even more eerily similar. You can’t tell one from another. “I’ve seen many twins who are alike, or alike enough. But the Peters twins are one person in two bodies,” George Duroy says. “Each is a mirror image of the other. They respond, react and think in unison. They even move in unison. I can’t imagine how they would ever separate.” They have very nice personalities. Unfortunately, being so similar and with such beautiful bodies, they are quite visible. Someone in their previous school found out they were working for Bel Ami and made life difficult for them for a time. And they are not from a big city, so everyone soon found out. The good news is they continued working and were not put off (they graduate in 2009). “On a certain level there is an innocence with them,” George recalls. “There are certain concepts that just don’t enter their thinking at all. When you see them, you have to smile because to be around them is quite an experience.” Milo and Elijah are among the stars of Lukas Ridgeston’s new line for Bel Ami.
