BEN JAKKS: I made my first flick when I was 20. My boyfriend at that time had been approached by a studio, who gave him their details. So I decided to call them myself, saying that someone had asked me to contact them. A little lie, but hey it worked. The rest is history.... AB: What quality do you believe makes you stand out the most in your films? BJ: My height?! Just kidding. Aaron that's another difficult one. I always think that those questions are never for me to answer. I think you are better off asking those who buy my movies! However, what I can say is... most of the time I'm really into what I'm doing. Because if your not, it is going to show on camera; and watching two guys who are into each other... is far sexier than two who clearly are not! AB: How demanding is it to film a sex scene, and how long does it normally takes? BJ: It's tough. No joke. At Titan a scene is shot over two and a half days. All the studios work differently and anyone who's been involved with Titan as well as someone else will know how intense it can be. It has to be said though that the end product speaks volumes as to the quality of production. This was one of my main reasons for agreeing to work with them. I'd rather work harder for a movie that I'm proud of than not and they're going to be around for a long time, so best get it right from the start! AB: How has your personal life been affected by your professional life, if it has? BJ: I have experienced a mixture of positive and negative reaction having worked in the adult entertainment business but that goes with the territory. I can not expect everyone to understand my choices. As long as no-one I care about gets hurt by those choices, of whatever nature, then I will continue regardless of what is being said. I do what I want to do, and I make porn because I think it is fun (and Titan know how to keep me happy). AB: What film project are you working on at the moment, and can you give us some insight into what we should expect in the coming year? BJ: I've recently been shooting a movie with the working title of Riders. Speaks for itself, don't you think? It‚s going to be the usual heady mixture of hot guys with nasty minds, in far and remote places; where no one can hear the sounds of a man‚s abuse.... so you heard it here first! _________________________  |
